Echoes Of Inner Wisdom

There’s something about Lescure – a place steeped in history, where the walls themselves seem to whisper beautiful stories of those who lived before us. Each stone, each worn floorboard carries the silent echoes of past lives. Each ancient cedar tree speaks of generations of love, conflict, growth, and change. Just close your eyes and listen.

As I walk the grounds with a cup of coffee, the quiet reminds me of the recent IFS Intensives we hosted. The estate feels quieter now, but also richer and renewed; the energy of our guests still lingers. Each visitor brought their own world, leaving a mark on this place, while peeling back layers of their own consciousness.

INNER ECHOES

The old house, with its timeless presence, mirrors the inner journeys of those who come here. It invites exploration of  past experiences and emotions, encouraging people to listen to the hidden parts of themselves – old stories, wounds and patterns. The stillness creates space to hear those personal voices, the wisdom carried within, acknowledging even the most difficult parts.

THE POWER OF PLACE

As I reflect on my role during these intensives, I realise it’s more than just providing a space, giving a workshop, or preparing nice meals. It’s about fostering a sense of safety and openness for guests to explore their inner worlds. Lescure, with its centuries of accumulated energy, has magic—an almost timeless quality that encourages connecting more deeply with oneself. The estate itself becomes part of the process, witnessing and holding space for transformation and self-awareness.

For me, Lescure is more than just an old house; it is a living, breathing witness to the human experience. As we prepare for future retreats, I’m eager to continue cultivating this atmosphere. The château will be here, waiting to hold new visitors in its forgiving embrace.

Until then, the echoes of the last retreats will linger—a reminder of the power of space, and the profound beauty of inner work.
